Hayden Panettiere
Sarah Roberts
1994-1997

Hayden was born in August 21, 1989. She began her career at 11 months when she appeared in a commercial for Playskool and since then she has appeared in over 50 commercials. She joined OLTL when she was just 4 1/2. Then in 1996 she also joined the cast of Guiding Light as Lizzie Spaulding (while she still played Sarah on OLTL...the only child actress to play on two soaps at the same time.). She was seen in the feature film Object of My Affection starring Jennifer Aniston, and was the voice of Dot in the animated feature, A Bug's Life with Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Hayden lives in a suburb of New York City with her parents, Lesley and Skip, her younger brother Jansen, and a houseful of animals. When she is not working or attending elementary school, Hayden enjoys swimming, horseback riding, piano lessons and gymnastics.

Sarah lived in Llanfair and had always hoped her parents would get back together. She had a very special relationship with her Uncle Todd and she was the flower girl in his wedding to Blair. Later, she moved out of town with her mother and brother. {Photo on left courtesy childstarlets.com}

Hayden Panettiere was just eleven years old when she got a lead role in the blockbuster film "Remember the Titans." In this true-life story, Hayden plays a coach's daughter and a major football fan. She had to learn all the stuff about football, since she is not really a football fan. When asked about working with big name actors like Nicole Kidman and Hilary Swank, Hayden said, "It is really cool. They don't act famous, they're nice, normal people. During the filming of Titans, I'd race on the field with Denzel, passing a football. He likes to kid around."

Matthew and Michael Pra
Steven Holden Jr.
1989-1991

Steven was born to Brenda and the late Steve Holden but after Gabby and pregnant Alicia Grande were involved in a car accident and Gabby saw that Alicia's baby had died, she switched Brenda's child with Alicia's. Alicia died and Michael came to take his boy, whom he named Garrick. Brenda couldn't believe her child was dead and felt something was wrong. Gabby couldn't keep the truth to herself and revealed that Garrick was actually Brenda's son. Brenda changed his name to Steven but Michael couldn't stay away from the boy. He did anything to stay close to him, including marrying Brenda. After Michael was murdered Brenda and Steven left town.

Mathew and Michael have done no work since leaving OLTL. Shown here with Grandpa Garrick, who Steven was named after when he was thought to be Garrick, Alicia and Michael's son. {air date 9-89; Captures courtesy Fiona Fest: A Fan Fete For Fabulous Fiona Hutchison}

1990 was Steven's last Christmas in Llanview.

Michael Roman
Al Holden
1993-1994

Al and C.J. decided to light fireworks on the 4th of July during a party. While doing that they fell through a tunnel and were stuck on a shaky rock that was about to fall at any minute. Viki suddenly remembered that there might be a path from the secret room in Llanfair to where the boys were and Cord and Max volunteered to rescue their children. Max and Cord succeeded in saving the kids but the heros were injured and hospitalized. Michael loved filming those scenes, "That was the radicalest scene I ever had--going up in the harness. When they got me out of the hole, I wasn't in that whole scene. They just picked up the rope, they weren't really pulling me up. It was cool." Al attended Max and Luna's wedding and was very happy for his father. Pictured to the left with on-screen dad James DePaiva.

Al with his new mom Luna, Dad Max and Uncle Cord. Al was so excited to finally get his dad and Luna married. He did everything he could to get them together.

Michael was born on October 4, 1987. He has a brother, Tommy and a sister, Sarah. He lies doing chores, especially "watering the plants, cleaning the toilet and polishing. Nobody but me likes to clean the toilet!" Michael also enjoyed the wardrobe and makeup on the show. His favorite part of being on a soap was wearing the makeup, especially the powder. He also loved Al's clothes. "I wish I was the real Al Holden because he gets to wear cowboy things." Michael also had a part in The Babymaker: The Dr. Cecil Jacobson Story in 1994 and in 1998 he played the role of Kieran in the series "That's Life".

Kirk and Robert Raisch
Al Holden
August 1988-July 1990

Kirk {l} and Robert {r} were born on June 6, 1987. They were about 14 months old when they took over the role in 1988. In 1988 SOU asked their mom, who is also their agent, "Who is the better baby?" Shirley of course couldn't really say. She said that Robert doesn't like the playpen much and when the scene calls for him to sit quietly and play in it, he isn't too happy. Hence, Kirk is the star for playpen scenes.

In 1988 Robert graced the cover of SOU with on-screen dad James DePaiva {Max}. Kirk was shown inside with James. During their time on the show, the boys developed their own "groupies" who would wait outside the studio. Their mom often ended up signing autographs for the boys.

Twins are cast in the role of a baby for one reason, if one of them isn't happy, they use the other child. As in this case, Robert would have been the star in the show and Kirk would have stayed back with mom to be calmed down. James DePaiva {Max} looks like he was having fun holding one happy baby {Robert} and one unhappy baby {Kirk}.

Robert/Kirk shown with on-screen mom Gabrielle {Fiona Hutchison}. Max and Gabby had several custody fights over Al, where each time someone else got custody. Al was kidnapped by the Whymans, a couple who sold babies on the black market. Max was willing to pay any price for Al's return and eventually he was brought back. {Air date left capture: 5/88, right capture: 9/88. The boys are now 17 years old {as of 2004} and are active in drama and stage production at school. They only remember bits and pieces of their experience with playing baby Al. After leaving OLTL, they appeared in 3 commercials and that was the end of their professional career. {photo and info courtesy the Raisch family}

Diana and Sara Schneider
Leslie Holden
1995-1996

Frankie and Leslie were born in the Sunset Inn in the mountains where Luna insisted on giving birth. They only knew their mother for a very short time, as she was murdered a few months after they were born. Later Max's girlfriend Maggie discovered Frankie was deaf and helped the family deal with it.

Ian Chandler Sheaffer
Matthew Rappaport
June 30, 2000-May 2001

Matthew was fond of Todd Manning much to his father, Sam's dismay. He had to face the death of his mother when Nora was thought to be dead and later when she was found alive and didn't remember him or his father. Matthew loved both of his dads. Here he plants a kiss on his biological dad's {Sam, Kale Browne} cheek.

Even though Ian was on OLTL for a very short time, he still had a chance to attend appearances. Here he is in Allentown, PA for a charity baseball game.

Alex and Brittany Smith
Jessica Buchanan
1988

Alex (left, above and right) and Brittany (right, above and right) Smith played Jessica for a short time in 1988 when they were three years old. Today, the 15 year olds are still acting and singing. They have graced the pages of Teen Vogue and German Elle and are currently the spokesmodels for John Frieda. They were extras on Guiding Light last year and Brittany appeared as a guest at Bianca's birthday party on All My Children. They have few memories of their time on OLTL. Alex says, "In the Halloween episode, I remember being held by one of the stars who was dressed up as a witch....I was afraid." Brittany has heard stories of how terrible they were with their fans. {info and pics courtesy SOD, 2001)

Jarred Sturman
Ace Buchanan (Adam Chandler III)
January 2005-present

In January 2005, right as the baby switch storyline came to another high point, Liam and Aidan O'Donnell became sick. In fact, they were replaced mid-episode. Jarred Sturman, who was no stranger to AMC, stepped in as baby James, and hasn't left. Jarred played baby Bess during the christening and wedding scenes several months ago, so AMC knew they could call on him last minute. He was the same age and had the same coloring as Ace. Jarred jumped right in and filmed 18 scenes straight, sleeping through the first several, where Babe and Jamie were caught, and JR and Kevin both tried to get "their son" back. Jarred was born on February 7, 2004. He has an older brother named Matthew. {photo courtesy http://www.expectingmodels.com/}

Kevin and Kelly got Ace back immediately. They were the last ones to legally have custody of the boy. Of course, we all know they have no DNA rights to the child. {photo courtesy Jaeger Li, 1.27.05 episode}

Kevin was having breakfast with Ace and convinced Kelly to join him. Ace seemed happy back at his home. But, Kevin and Kelly were back together only for his benefit. That certainly wouldn't last long. It was obvious in some scenes that someone was off to the side keeping Jarred's attention. He kept laughing. {photo courtesy Jaeger Li, 1.27.05 episode}

For further pictures and information about Ace's life as "Little A", who is now reunited with his birth mother, Babe, visit the Children of All My Children.

Erin Torpey
Jessica Buchanan
1990-2002

Heather Erin Torpey was born on February 14, 1981 (Valentine's Day). Here is one of her earliest professional pictures. {pic courtesy Heather}

She appeared in a few Broadway shows such as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Goodbye Girl," "Annie" and "Evita." During her free time she likes to sing, play tennis, rollerblade, swim and talk on the phone.

Jessica had to deal with death when she was just a little girl. At first Cord was thought to be dead and later she needed to face a painful goodbye with her dying sister Megan. Jessica accidentally set Llanfiar on fire, but fortunately no one was hurt. Jessica was extremely upset when Clint and Viki were divorced and always hoped that they would get back together some day. She helped her mother through her Multiple Personality crisis. Pictured to the right with on-screen parents Clint Richie {Clint} and {Viki}.

Steven and Nicholas Towler
Matthew Rappaport
February 1999-June 2000

Matthew was conceived while Nora was still married to Bo. Her plan was to give Bo another child after his son Drew died. However Nora was led to believe Bo was sterile, so she asked Sam to sleep with her and let her raise the child with Bo.

The truth came out and Bo left Nora and Matthew. Sam supported her through out the pregnancy and carried her in a snowstorm to the hospital to deliver Matthew. When it turned out Bo wasn't sterile, they ran a DNA test to show who was his father. Linsdsay tampered with the results. Eventually we learned Sam was the father.

Tori Trombetta
Leslie Holden
1998

In order to get back at Max, RJ Gannon ordered Max's twins kidnapped. He had no idea what the guys who kidnapped them meant to do with them. They were sold to a Canadian family and the kidnappers faked their death. Max didn't believe that his kids were dead and didn't rest until they were found in Canada. Later on they went to live with Luna's family in NC.

Geoffrey Wigdor
Eli Trager
1997-1998

Eli was an HIV positive boy who inherited the virus from his mother. His mother died and there was no one to pay for his medical treatments. His spunk and attitude got into Toddís heart and he donated all the money for his medical treatments. He stayed with Andrew Carpenter for a while but Carlotta offered a permanent solution by fostering him. He got into some trouble, like painting the angel statute in Angel Square in red and stealing Hank's motorcycle but Carlotta always stood by him.

Geoffrey was born in New York on January 23, 1982. His first role was J.J. Forbes on the soap opera "Loving" which he played from 1992-95.
