Ryan and Rylie Cramer
Jack Cramer Manning
October 2001-present

The identical twins landed on television almost by accident. Their mom and dad signed their 2-year-old sister, Macie, with a talent agency. Instead of Macie getting calls, all the attention was paid to their then-pregnant mom, Melissa. "They told us when we have the babies, let them know, because they could always use twins." Ryan and Rylie were in front of ABC casting executives 10 days after birth. Ryan and Rylie also have a 6 year old brother, Rickie. {info from the Burlington County Times}

Todd continued to lie to Blair about baby Jack's parentage. Blair believed his mother was a woman named Nellie until Jack was about a year old. During the infamous "live" episodes in May 2002, Blair finally learned that her adopted son was actually her biological son, who hadn't really died at birth. Blair was devastated that Todd lied to her about her child's death. She threw him out of the house and he hasn't been back since.

Ryan and Rylie were featured in the January 7, 2003 issue of Soaps in Depth. On screen mom Kassie dePaiva enjoys working with the identical twins. She says, "I've been working with them since they were three months old and I still can't tell them apart. The only difference is Ryan has a little dent in his ear! It's so easy to love these babies. They are so beautiful and sweet. Just when I don't think they can get any cuter, they do!" She also notes, "You never know what babies will do, so we switch them off in scenes." {Photo courtesy Melissa Cramer, via SID}

Ryan and Rylie left the role of Jack just before their second birthday. As typical two year olds, infrequent visits to the set made it a strange place and they were no longer happy in the studio. Kassie DePaiva {Blair} hated to see them go and had good things to say about their time in the role. "The twins were a joy and so darling...I will miss those beautiful boys. They were very sweet and perfect Jacks." {pic courtesy the Jack Manning yahoo group}

Anthony and Victor DeBiase
Clinton James Roberts
1988

CJ was born in the jungles of South America to an unconscious Tina. The native took the baby away from her and told her he died. However a few months later Tina and Cord heard something about a miracle baby, Milagro, who was born in the jungle. It took a while but eventually they found their son in a convent in Italy and the three of them were reunited. Tina and Cord named the child after his thought to be dead grandfather, Clint. His full name is Clinton James Roberts. For short they called him C.J. {Air date April 1988; Captures courtesy Fiona Fest: A Fan Fete For Fabulous Fiona Hutchison}

Anthony and Victor were born April 3, 1987 and got into showbiz when they were 3 1/2 months old. As toddlers, when the boys heard the OLTL theme, they'd cruise in their walkers to get to the TV set. At one point during taping, one of the boys called Cord "DaDa." John Loprieno was their favorite actor on the set. {photo and pic from SOD}

David and Michael DeFranco
Duke Buchanan
1993

Duke was the result of a one night stand Lee Ann Demerest had with the much younger Kevin Buchanan. Lee Ann, who was involved with Max at the time, was sure the baby was Max's but she let Kevin believe he was the father and they got married. When she found out that married life wasn't that easy, she told Kevin that Max was Duke's father. Kevin and Duke took a DNA test which proved Kevin was the father. Then the custody fight started. When the trial was almost over Lee Ann saw that Kevin's chances to get custody of the child were much bigger than hers and she took Duke and ran off. After being found, custody was grunted to Kevin. After a few months Lee Ann asked to take Duke with her to Texas and she hasn't returned yet.

Janelle and Tamara DeMent
Jessica Buchanan
1986-1988

When Viki told Clint she was pregnant with his daughter it came as huge surprise for him. Everybody was happy when Jessica was born. Shortly after her birth, her father was thought to be dead.

Just a few weeks after her birth in 1986, Jessica was kidnapped by Allison Perkins (pictured here), a teenager in a cult. Thankfully she was returned to her parents, Clint and Viki by Maria Roberts. In 2001, this storyline was resurrected, when it was revealed that Allison returned a different baby to Viki. Flashbacks of the kidnapping were shown repeatedly. According to Allison, the real Jessica was a red head named Natalie, while the real Natalie was a blonde, whose real mother was a woman named Roxie. After further investigation, it was revealed that Mitch Lawrence raped Viki, impregnating her, when she was already pregnant by Clint. This resulted in a pregnancy of twins. She gave birth to Natalie, a redhead, and Jessica, a blonde. One child was taken by Mitch at birth, so Viki never knew about the additional child. The children hadn't actually been switched. Mitch wanted his daughter raised by Viki, so he made sure she kept Jessica, while Natalie was raised by Roxie.

Janelle and Tamara, born March 21, 1985, shared the role of Jessica for 2 years. They got into showbiz at 5 months because their mom is a ballet dancer who has her own company. They appeared annually in a production of The Nutcracker in Atlantic City, New Jersey, as well as print work. They were recast when Jessica was aged. Jessica shown here with her Uncle Bo {Robert S. Tamara and Janelle's mother began teaching math, reading and music to her twin daughters when they were 15 months old. In May 2003, at age 18, they graduated -- from college. The twins, homeschooled from an early age, were the youngest graduates ever from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. In 2003, their sister, Chanee, 16, was a junior at Stockton, and the youngest, Ariel, 12, was to start classes there, possibly next year. Many colleges do not allow enrollment at such a young age, but Phyllis Papa of Galloway Township, mother of the sisters, had a long connection with Stockton as a dance instructor and choreographer, and her daughters felt comfortable attending classes there.

Sal Catalfamo, dean of enrollment management, said the college gets one or two requests a year to enroll nontraditional or younger students. Decisions are based on test scores, a personal interview and level of maturity, he said. Having nontraditional students can add an extra dimension to the campus, he said.

Tamara and Janelle told The Press of Atlantic City that it was initially stressful to be in a college structure that required learning be done on a timetable correlated to term papers and tests. After completing a class or two with excellent grades, they were allowed to enroll full time. Tamara earned a 3.7 grade-point average as a theater major. Janelle's average in liberal arts was a perfect 4.0.

Janelle and Tamara hope to be accepted into a dance company. They also work together as "Twin Violins," playing chamber music at restaurants and special events. Chanee is majoring in photography. Ariel has interests ranging from Shakespeare to fashion design. {info courtesy Amy via Homeschoolbuzz.com and phillyburbs.com, photo on left from SOD}

Janelle {left, center} and Tamara {right, center} continue to act in theater productions. Their mom, Phyllis Papa, directed them, along with their two younger sisters, in a recent production of Shakespear's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Janelle played Hermia while Tamara played Titania. {pics courtesy Showho's Homepage}
